Church History of Hope Community Church.
Beginnings
Hope Community Church began in the fall of 2001 when a group of six
families from the Morris Evangelical Free Church and Lake Community Church in
Alexandria partnered to start an Evangelical Free Church in the Minnewaska
area.
Hope Community Church (HCC) opened for its first public worship
service on June 9th, 2002 at the Minnewaska Area High School. Future HCC has
seen steady growth since it’s beginnings and we are continually seeking
the Lord’s will as we add new ministries, while maintaining our focus on
reaching the Minnewaska area through building relationships with those in the
community.
HCC is also in the process of seeking the Lord’s guidance to find
a permanent home.
Our Vision:
Hope Community Church is a healthy body of unified believers who are
fully submitted to God and His word, founded in prayer, and focused on
Christ-centered relationships.
We are passionate and intentional about people becoming fully devoted
followers of Jesus Christ.
